Telefónica optimizes the Aigües de Barcelona plant thanks to 5G

● This is a pioneering project through which the security cameras of the drinking water treatment plant (DWTP) of Aigües de Barcelona in Sant Joan Despí have been connected to each other with 5G technology so that the images collected can be processed in real time in Telefónica's edge computing.
● With this pilot, simpler operations are achieved, as well as transforming processes and infrastructures to more scalable, flexible and easily evolvable models that lead to economic efficiencies.
