During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Telefónica will simulate a natural disaster scenario with the aim of demonstrating the importance of technology in crisis management. In this fictional environment, marked by extreme weather conditions, the company will demonstrate its capabilities in assisting with critical missions involving reconnaissance, rescue, or healthcare.
To restore connectivity in the affected areas, Telefónica will deploy its dual technology, ensuring constant communication between coordination centers and the forward command post.
Telefónica’s demonstration, called ‘Mission-Critical Dome’, provides the necessary levels of coverage, bandwidth, low latency, and multiple connections for real-time decision-making. This experience can be explored in detail at Telefónica’s stand at MWC, which will be held in Barcelona from March 2 to 5, with a connection to Port Fòrum, among other locations.
-Monday, March 2: 10h, 12h and 15h.
-Tuesday, March 3: 11h, 13h and 15:30h.
-Wednesday, March 4: 11h and 13h.
